Personal bio: 

Dr. Laia Pujol-Tost is a Principal Researcher at the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona. Her research interests include Serious Games, Digital Archaeology, Computer Games Education, Digital Museum, Digital Heritage, and Virtual Archaeology. She holds a BA in History (1999), a PGCE in Didactics of the Social Sciences (1999), and a PhD in Prehistoric Archaeology (2006). Her research field is the design and evaluation of user-centred ICT applications for Cultural Heritage, in relation to which she has worked both in the public and the private sector thanks to several international contracts and grants. Her work has been disseminated (and in two cases awarded) in prestigious international journals and conferences. She has also taught at undergraduate and postgraduate level at different European universities.
